Vintage Inspired Postcard GIF Animations

Inspired by vintage “Welcome/Greeting” postcards students created simple GIFS that will go on their final website Country page. As a part of our large HTML & CSS Web Development projects, 7th grade students create an animated GIF that will go on their website. Our websites are based on an Airbnb Marketing theme where students are marketing their selected Airbnb property and highlighting the country where their property is as well as adventures that someone could do if they visited that property. Here are a few good website examples: Turkey, Costa Rica and Malta.

For this GIF students had to design at least 15+ keyframes for full credit. Most created a lot more! When they submitted their animations I had them screenshot their keyframes and include both files in their submission.
